Duo Prism

(Loïc Abdelfettah & Quentin Rebuffet) is a chamber music ensemble composed of a viola and a cello.

Founded in 2016 at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, Duo Prism is recognized as one of France's most promising young ensembles. Winner of numerous international awards, the duo is crowned Artist of the Year in 2021 by the International Youth Music Competition (USA).

In 2021, Duo Prism came to prominence for its work on Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's Sonata op.144 for viola and cello, which the duo rediscovered and presented at the American Viola Society Festival 2021 (Knoxville, Tennessee). The duo performed again in 2022 at the American Viola Society Festival 2022 & 47th International Viola Congress invited as "Rising Stars" (Columbus, Georgia).

Duo Prism recorded its first album in 2017 after winning the Musique au Centre Val-de-Loire Humanis competition (2017).

Since then, the duo has performed in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, including at the Hindemith Institute in Frankfurt.
