Loïc Abdelfettah

Loïc is a passionate chamber musician. In 2012, he co-founded the Quatuor Fenris at the CNSMD de Lyon, a quartet that won the Concours pour Jeunes Quatuors de la Philharmonie de Paris (France, 2016) and the AEMC International Chamber Music Competition (Italy, 2019). The quartet studied with Yovan Markovitch (Quatuor Ysaÿe/Quatuor Danel) and with Luc-Marie Aguera (Quatuor Ysaÿe) at the Conservatoire de Paris. Loïc is also a founding member of Duo Prism.

Since 2019, Loïc has also joined the Quatuor Lontano. Quatuor Lontano recorded its first disc in spring 2021 on the Swiss label VDE-Gallo. This first disc has been acclaimed by the critics. The Quatuor Lontano is fortunate to be supported in its projects by the Fondation Pierre-Gianadda and Adami. In 2023, the Quatuor Lontano will release its new opus, "La Montagne Magique", an album celebrating the 7 years of of the Musicales d'Assy's founding. The album features a complete string quartet set of works by Igor Stravinsy, a famous guest of the village.


Loïc Abdelfettah is graduated with two Masters degrees from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (2017) (prof. Françoise Gnéri) and the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (2019) in Zürich (Switzerland) with the violist Lawrence Power. He then continued his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in the 3rd cycle "Diplôme d'Artiste Interprète". An eclectic musician, he also studied improvisation (free, jazz, Indian music).

Throughout his studies, he had the chance to take part in numerous masterclasses with B.Dean, B.Giuranna, I.Charisius, V.Hagen, K.Kashkashian, G.Knox, N.Imai, T.Masurenko, J.Meissl, M.Milstein, J.Puchhammer-Sédillot, T.Riebl, H.Rohde, M.Rysanov, A.Tamestit, T.Zimmermann... Loïc has won several international competitions as both soloist and chamber musician.

Loïc teaches at the Conservatoire de Paris (16th arrondissement).

Quentin Rebuffet

Born into an artistic family background, Quentin Rebuffet began playing the cello at the age of 16. In 2014, he was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMD) in Yvan Chiffoleau's class. Quentin obtained his Master's degree with honors in 2019. He has taken part in numerous masterclasses: P.Muller, V.Erben, X.Phillips, S.Forck, L.Groeneveld, C.Morris, H.Dautry... In 2013, he was awarded 2nd Prize at the Louis Rosoor International Cello Competition (Bordeaux).

With a passion for chamber music, in April 2019 he founded the Quatuor Arlequin with friends from the CNSMD de Lyon. That same year, they were awarded 3rd prize - Best Quartet of the competition - at the Anton Rubinstein International Chamber Music Competition in Düsseldorf (Germany). In 2021, the Arlequin Quartet is invited to perform at the prestigious Beethoven Fest in Bonn (Germany).

Quentin is also a founding member of Duo Prism and Trio Vinteuil (piano trio). With this trio, he has the chance to benefit from the teaching of Y.Markovitch (Quatuor Ysaÿe), D.Ciocarlie, F.Krawczyk and A.Sulem (Quatuor Rosamonde). In 2017, they joined the chamber music program of the Conservatoire de Paris in the class of the Ysaÿe Quartet. Throughout his career, he has received advice from the Alban Berg Quartet, the Vogler Quartet, H. Muller (Artemis Quartet), M. Chilemme (Quatuor Ebène), Abdel Rahman El Bacha, D. Mommertz (Fauré Quartet), P. Rainer (UDK Berlin).

Quentin Rebuffet has performed on several concert tours in France (Festival Debussy, Sanary en Musique), the Netherlands (Orlando Music Festival), Germany (Toscanasaal Residenz Wurzburg), Belgium, Switzerland, South Korea (Seoul Art Center), Saudi Arabia (Maraya Allula). He plays regularly with the Orchestre National d'Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and with the Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon.

In 2018, he took part in the Musethica International Chamber Music Program and gave several solidarity concerts in 2019 for Live Music Now. Quentin Rebuffet is supported by Mécénat Musical Société Générale and Adami.

Since 2021, Quentin Rebuffet has been teaching cello and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Bourges.
